Lucas County Sheriff coverage of Jerusalem Township

Dear Jerusalem Township Residents, you may have seen in the news that our newly-elected Sheriff has announced his plan to charge Townships for Sheriff Deputy coverage beginning 1/1/2023. You may also be aware that Jerusalem Township does not have the financial resources to afford the $500,000 per year price tag for Lucas County Sheriff law enforcement services.

Sheriff Navarre has agreed to join the Jerusalem Township Board of Trustees public meeting to discuss his plans and answer questions from the community.
